What is the Waxicle?

So, for those of you who are wondering what this Waxicle business is that has suddenly appeared on your blogroll/reader/feed, let me explain.

If you've ever seen The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood or The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants that should give you a little bit of insight as to what the Waxicle is.

Several years ago, when we were Juniors in high school (I think?) we organized what we call a Tribe. I believe every person needs a  "tribe". Especially during those awkward, terrible, exciting, and completely confusing times like high school. It's a secret place where secrets can be told and a place where they stay. Not everyone has to organize an official "secret society" complete with shady rituals and laughable hazing. It just happened to speak to the wild, thrill-seeking goddesses locked inside our teenage bodies. 

The important part was that we had loving, honest, loyal friends to support and balance us. 

So, this blog (previously Snarky Drea) is now completely dedicated to all the things the Tribe stands for. Love, friendship, honesty, growth, and spirituality. We want it to be an inspiration so you can create, revive, or maybe just remember your own "tribe". 

I'm sure in time you'll learn an awful lot about the five of us. We plan on writing about many topics and sharing some of our fondest memories of our sisterhood with you.
